Step 1. Open your Paymaya app and click 'Send Money'.
Step 2. Enter the Smart Padala 16-digit number and the amount you would like to transfer.
Under 'Name, Mobile, or Account Number', enter the 16-digit account number or reference number of the receiver (Smart Padala outlet).
After inputting the correct account number, Paymaya will automatically select 'Smart Padala' as the recipient's account type.
Input the amount you would like to transfer. You can add an optional message if you want. After that, click 'Continue'.
Note that Paymaya charges 1.5% fee plus the amount you will send each transfer activity you make to Smart Padala while it's free when sending money from Paymaya to Paymaya.
Step 4. Review the recipient and amount details before transferring the money.
Carefully review the details of the recipient and the amount before you click the 'Send' button.
Step 5. Save the confirmation details or text message.
You will receive a pop up notification saying that the transfer was successful.
You will also get a text message of successful transfer confirmation.
If you want to claim the money, simply show the text message to the Smart Padala agent with your reference number from the 'Send Money' transaction.
The reference number serves as an important proof when claiming the money from Smart Padala.
Take note that you can only claim it once and Smart Padala outlets will never asks for any additional service fee since claiming money is now free of charge according to Paymaya.
If you want your loved ones to claim the money you've sent to Smart Padala, just forward the text message you received from Paymaya and tell them to show it to Smart Padala outlet where you've sent the money.
